General

1. Coastal Curved Glasshas been in the business of creating curved glass for over 25years, we use every technique available to us ensure the best possible quality of curved glass. Due to the process of forming glass at extremely high temperatures, marks and distortion can occur, despite our best efforts. It is advisedto get full size samples for any project.
2. Coastal Curved GlassfollowsASTM standards for optical quality and size tolerance. These same standards do not apply to tight radius bends(<12”), bends with flat tangents, non-radius curves, and glass thicker than ½”–orders in any of these categories are produced to the best of our manufacturing ability.
3. Templates are accepted,and we will use our best effortto duplicate what we have been given. We cannot warranty issues which arise from any discrepancyoutside of standard tolerances. It is advisable to include all measurements on patterns. CADdrawings are recommendedand where not provided, Coastal Curved Glass will insist that our CAD drawing is signed-off on before production. Any discrepancies noticed after client sign-off will not be our responsibility.
4. Coastal Curved Glassis not a collector of US or state taxes. As title for products transfers upon delivery to a foreign destined common carrier, the responsibility for such taxes falls on the purchaser

Quotations

1. Quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated in writing.
2. Any estimated prepaid freight charges are subject to change. Should actual shipping/ handling/ customs charges be higher than expected, aseparate invoice will be billed to the customer.
3. Coastal curved glass has partnerships with other curved and flat glass suppliers in North America and overseas. We reserve the right to manufacture glass in-house or have orders processed by one of these partners where we see fit. We will always do our best to be up front with partner lead times, but we do not guarantee any estimated lead times unless expressly agreed to in writing.

Terms and Credit

1. All purchase orders are received on a cash basis, unless the buyer has established an approvedcredit account. Deposits are at our discretion and may still be necessary,even with a credit account.Standard terms are 50%deposit and 50%pre-shipping. Lead times do not start until the deposit has been received and cleared.
2. Coastal Curved Glassoffers a“Net 30”payment term on all approved credit accounts.
3. At our discretion, overdue accounts will be charged interest at 1.5% per month. The buyer will be responsible for all collection costs including reasonable attorney’s fees in the event of non-payment

Damaged Materials

1. If there is damage to the crate or breakage to the glass, it will be the buyer’s responsibility to file a claim with the shipping company. Damage needs to be noted on the bill of lading at the time of delivery, it is recommended to inspect the crate and open it if possible before signing the bill of lading. If damage is not noted on the bill of lading all chances of a claim are null and void.
2. Any hidden damage must be reported to the shipping company within 48 hours of delivery.
3. Glass breakage is specifically excluded from all product warranties.
4. Glass left on our premise longer than 30 days after the customer has been notified will be left at the customers risk. Scratches, breakage and any other damage will be the responsibility of the buyer.
5. Coastal Curved Glass is not responsible for damage to customer supplied patterns, fixtures or any such materials left on our premises. We reserve the right to discard any materials left for a period of greater than 6 months. It is the client’s responsibility to clearly mark their contact information on all materials.
